What JD Delivered
JD built a 40-foot-high by 20-foot-wide crown and anchor logo for Royal Caribbean, a flagship signage item installed in the Bahamas. The piece was engineered to stay standing and safe, fabricated in full at JD’s shop in Canada, and installed on location with a local installer. JD ran the whole process from its office in Canada.
Rollout Scope
A single flagship signage item in the Bahamas, fabricated in JD’s Canadian shop and installed on-site with a local installer. JD coordinated the entire installation process from its office in Canada.
Challenge Solved
The sign sits in a region with heavy hurricane and tropical weather, so the engineering needed to keep a 40-foot structure from toppling was extensive. JD also coordinated multi-country sign-off, securing approval from an engineer in Canada, then an engineer in the US and an engineer in the Bahamas, before carrying the work through fabrication and a managed installation.
Outcome / Result
The crown and anchor logo is now one of Royal Caribbean’s most cherished branding items, and JD is excited to undertake more projects like it.
